The A.I.C.P UK August Camp 2010
The program will actually start on Friday 6pm, August 27th in East West House, Halifax. Accommodation will be made available for brothers and sisters above East West House, Halifax on Friday for the first 25 sisters and 40 brothers. Please note that if you cannot make it to East West House before 11:30 pm on Friday then you can meet at 8:30am on Saturday outside East West House. The remainder of the “Camp” will be held at Bradley Wood, Shepherds Thorn Lane, Brighouse, Yorkshire, HD6 3TU, starting on Saturday 9:00 am, August 28th and end on Monday, August 30th at 12pm. This campsite is about 15 minutes from Halifax.

This gathering is open to both brothers and sisters.
The camp will run across 5 days and the cost of attending is £20 per Adult (18 and over). Individuals aged 7 to 18 have the reduced rate of £15. (Children under 7 are free). A family discount of £5 per person is available and is for families of 4 or more individuals. Note this is for immediate family members only, e.g. brothers, sisters and children etc. Also people attending from Halifax and from within 20 miles of the campsite will be charged a reduced rate of £10 per person. Food will be provided three times per day and on site accommodation provided.Sleeping arrangements: This year there is a greater number of bunk beds available. These will be assigned on a “first come first served basis” – although we will give greater consideration to the elderly. There will be three separate dorms/cabins. Separate areas have been designated for the brothers and for the sisters. Each person attending needs to bring sleeping bags with them. There is also a large piece of land outside which we can use for tents. If you want, you can instead stay in nearby hotels or B&Bs, but you have to arrange this yourself.
Suggested Supply List:
- Compass
- Sleeping bags/bedding/pillows/blankets and sleeping clothes.
- Toiletries, i.e., soap, shampoo, towels, slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste, etc. (showers available on-site!!)
- Notebook and pen.
If you forget something, don’t worry too much as there are various shopping facilities relatively nearby.
